Jeffrey Gitomer captivates standing room only crowd in Edison, NJ

Wall, NJ - Move Ahead 1 of Wall Township presented “Jeffrey Gitomer in New Jersey,” to a packed conference hall on Thursday, September 22 at the Holiday Inn in Edison. Gitomer, a self-described “Chief Executive Salesman” and highly regarded keynote speaker, kept the standing-room-only crowd of over 500 attendees riveted to his every word as he gave his unique insights based on his national best selling book, “The Little Red Book of Selling.”

Move Ahead 1, a full-service business development and resource company offering education, professional training and critical business skills development, designed the seminar to give attendees ample opportunity to net weave with participating vendors both before and after Gitomer took the stage. Included among the businesses represented were realtors, marketing groups, consulting firms, advertising and productions services, business publications, accounting firms, and communications companies.

Eric Taylor, managing partner of Move Ahead 1 and the Empowerment Group, opened up the seminar with several prize giveaways before introducing Gitomer, who entered the room to a thunderous round of applause. Taylor, a noted keynote speaker and business skills facilitator himself, is the author of the acclaimed, “Your Best Year Ever” program, a 12-step process for unlocking the secrets and strategies for unlimited success.

Gitomer, an in-demand presenter for groups, gatherings and functions across the country, delivered targeted business information along with his sales philosophies in a vibrant and spirited speaking style, intermixing jokes and audience interaction throughout his presentation. At one point, he had each person in attendance exchange business cards with the person sitting next them to encourage the establishment and value of new relationships. Delivering his subject matter in a funny, insightful, and “in your face” manner, he spoke at length regarding buying motives, the reality of sales, customer loyalty and the power of intelligent, emotional, and friendly engagement.

Move Ahead 1 donated booth space to Sunrise Senior Living of Lakewood, NJ, in order to accept financial donations from those in attendance on behalf of the American Red Cross for disaster relief and to benefit fellow Americans whose lives were devastated by the recent hurricanes in the gulf states. Approximately $1,000 was collected, comprised of attendee donations and matching funds from Single Throw, Inc., of Wall Township, NJ.
